High-Protein Goulash: Lean Beef Goulash with 45 g Protein
Share
Goulash is mostly beef and onions – already high in protein. Choose a lean cut, skip the extra fat and you get about 45 g protein per portion. It tastes even better reheated, which makes it perfect for meal prep.
Base (4 portions): 800 g lean beef (topside or silverside) in cubes, 500 g onions, 2 peppers, 2 tablespoons tomato paste, 2 tablespoons sweet paprika, caraway, 500 ml stock. Brown the meat in batches, soften the onions, add everything, simmer covered for 90 minutes until tender.
