High-Protein Shakshuka: 4 Versions with 30–40 g Protein
Share
Shakshuka works for breakfast, lunch or dinner: one pan, one can of tomatoes, a few eggs. Three eggs alone give about 20 g protein – add beans, feta or turkey and you reach 30–40 g.
Base (1 portion): Soften onion, pepper and garlic in a little oil, add cumin, paprika and chilli, then a can of chopped tomatoes. Simmer 10 minutes, make wells, crack in 3 eggs, cover and cook 5–7 minutes.
